The Common Levels of Support Decision Support Tool (CLS-DST) is a web-based software application that the Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) uses to determine optimal funding allocations for Base Operations Support (BOS) Services.

OBJECTIVE
BOS services represent the services required to run an Army installation and provide for the needs of the civilian and military population on the installation. These services are defined by the Army Baseline Services and are the same services that are represented in the Army's ISR Services program. The Common Levels of Support process determines the Service Support Programs (SSPs) that make up each BOS service on Army installations.

The Decision Support Tool supports the IMCOM SEL in deciding what level to fund SSPs for each service by: executive prioritization of SSPs, determination of SSPs that must be funded at 100% of the requirement and funding as many SSPs as possible to as high a level as possible using a red / amber / green capability level.

BACKGROUND
CLS-DST is an R&K Engineering software product developed for the Army's Installation Management Command. The initial version was developed and tested in FY2004.
